Cave B at Sagecliffe

Washington State is now home to over 500 wineries with new labels emerging every month. As the wine-making business continues to become increasingly competitive, more wineries are looking for new avenues for attracting visitors to their tasting rooms.

The Sagecliffe Resort in Quincy provides wine-lovers with picturesque views and a unique experience. Comprised of the winery, Inn and restaurant, the property rests high atop the cliffs overlooking the mighty Columbia River. It all began back in 1980, when Vince and Carol Bryan left the fast pace of Seattle living to find a summer home. They wanted a place that could serve both as a desirable vineyard yet a peaceful escape for their family.

The 30 guest rooms at Sagecliffe are comprised of 3 inn rooms, 12 Cavern Rooms and 15 Cliffehouses. The stand-alone Cliffehouses offer guests both privacy and luxury, featuring double-sided fireplaces, plush bedding and a terrace with glorious views stretching for miles. The newly constructed pool is surrounded by natural rock and waterfalls and serves as an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the abundant Columbia Gorge sunshine. VINCE BRYAN: OUR USUAL INSTRUCTION IN DRIVING IS IF YOUR COMING FROM WESTERN WASHINGTON COME DOWN i-90 UNTIL YOU SEE BLUE.

The restaurant pairs regional Northwest cuisine with Cave B Estate wines. The organic chef’s and herb gardens are located on property stretching just over an acre.
