SNOQUALMIE, WA. In 1916, an inn was constructed near the falls for weary travelers crossing Snoqualmie Pass on their way to the city. In 1988, the newly rebuilt property emerged as The Salish Lodge.
Salish, a Native American word meaning moon, was chosen for the Salish tribes of the Snoqualmie Valley. Today, the Salish Lodge and Spa serves a haven for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and has become one of the nation’s premiere lodging destinations.
