Tillicum Village

BLAKE ISLAND, WA. On Pier 55, in the historic waterfront town of Seattle, you’ll find Argosy Cruises. They offer an 8 ½ mile round trip to Tillicum Village, but getting there is half the fun. Nothing beats the views of Seattle’s downtown sky line from Puget Sound on a sunny day. Open since 1962, Tillicum Village shares the Indian method of cooking fish. This Northwest style of cooking is done with cedar stakes on an Alder Fish.

“The main aspect of Tillicum Village is to share the First People’s culture with kids who come here to work as well as the quest of those who come here to experience what we have to offer.” - Mark Hewitt, President of Tillicum Village
